Styroflex ECO 2G66 B60 is a clear styrene butadiene copolymer (SBC) that comprises renewable feedstock. The production of Styrolux ECO generates at least 74% less greenhouse gas emissions when compared to the conventional grades (certified by a globally recognised certification system).

nora systems, a global market leader for rubber floor coverings, was searching for a sustainable material especially suitable for indoor environments such as kindergartens, schools and healthcare facilities as well as for industrial environments. nora was looking for a material to support the company’s efforts to lower the carbon footprint of its products.

Our solution

By choosing INEOS Styrolution’s grade Styroflex ECO 2G66 B60 for its low emissions, impact resistance and excellent chemical resistance, nora systems found an effective compatibiliser for its flooring solutions. The renewable material it is comprised of, is sourced from kitchen waste and Scandinavian wood waste. The sourcing and production process has been certified by a globally recognised certification system.
